19th Sept 2009	Belated congratulations to Nan Davies who won the 'Singles' in this year's 'Govan Ladies Champion of Champions' and also to our triples team of Dorothy Collins, Gladys Brittain and Christine Woolley. Well done also to our pairs team of Mary Brannigan and Margaret Kelly who reached the semi-finals. Time to award a wee gold star to Nan I think.

2nd Sept 2009	Many congratulations to Nan Davies on a remarkable eighth 'Championship' victory which she won in a rain interrupted final today against Gladys Brittain. Commiserations to Gladys who put up a great fight in what was by all accounts a terrific final. Congratulations also go to Margaret Kelly who won the 'President's' and commiserations to the runner up Christine Woolley.

23rd Aug 2009	Well done to Mai Hood, Sheila McLaren, Ellen McGregor and Christine Woolley on winning the Nithill and Hurlet 'Invitation Fours' this afternoon.

13th Aug 2009	Congratulations to our team of Nan Cairns, Ena Breingan, Jan Lindsay and Nan Davies who won the Ralston Invitation Fours on Thursday 13th August.

8th Aug 2009	The re-scheduled 'Ladies Balloted Triples' took place on Saturday 8th August. The weather was kinder to us than the original date in May when it was cancelled due to torrential rain. The winners were: Jean Etherington, Gladys Brittain and Dorothy Young Runners up were: Dorothy Collins, Betty Walker and Nan Davies

6th Aug 2009	We had 3 teams who reached the Glasgow Womens Bowling Association Finals at Hawthorn Bowling Club on Wednesday 5th August 2009. 2 Bowl Pairs : Liz Lavetty and Mae McLean Triples : Dorothy Young, Christine Woolley and Nan Davies Fours : Anna Barr, Betty Walker, Jan Lindsay and Jean McKinney Unfortunately they were all runners up but they certainly did C.B.C. proud and we had a wee "do" for them on Wednesday night. The teams were delighted with the large 'supporters club' who were there for them throughout. Once again, as was mentioned by several people, Cardonald win the prize for most supporters.

21st June 2009	Well done to our team of Cherie Bradley, Margaret Brown, Jan Lindsay and Dorothy Young who were runners up at the Crookston Invitation Fours today.

19th June 2009	The ladies section had 2 teams at the Titwood Invitation Triples on Friday 19th June and they made history by being the only club ever to be winners and runners up in this competition. The winners were: Jan Lindsay, Margaret Causer and Dorothy Young and the runners up were: Vi Stewart, Jean McKinney and Mae McLean(who won it last year) Many congratulations to all concerned.

22nd May 2009	The 'Ladies Balloted Fours' competition was played in brilliant sunshine today and congratulations go to the winners Margaret Brown, Mary Hogg, Mae McLean and Margaret Kelly. (The 4 M's - Could be the start of a new 'Girl Band !) Commiserations to the runners up: Liz Lavetty, Margaret Hamilton, Susan Young & Dorothy Young.

9th May 2009	Sadly the Ladies Triples Day had to be cancelled due to the inclement weather.
